I need Network Engineer in Munich, Germany

For one of our clients we are looking for a Network Engineer Main Task: · Troubleshoot, and escalate production problems per operations processes, affecting the global MPLS network and systems infrastructure · Work closely together with the offshore Global Network Operation Center (GNOC) in India and Prague in order to provide additionally Tier 2/3 operational support for network technologies of focus · Handling and escalating highly impacting operational issues to upper management and/or 3rd party vendor escalation · Problem management, diagnosis, escalation, tracking and resolution in close collaboration with GNOC · Support the planning and implementation of medium to high risk changes on production systems · Act as internal escalation source in case team members need assistance · Perform traffic engineering analysis on network and systems facilities · Build and maintain knowledge of relevant equipment, protocols, technologies, services and tools related to networks and Network Operation Centers · Articulate key aspects of architecture and design (e.g., scalability, availability, manageability, robustness, appropriate incorporation of new technology) through models and documentation · Transfer knowledge and support technical project staff during the implementation of a solution/new network service Required skills: · Cisco certification with focus on Cisco Voice • A minimum of Bachelor's Degree or higher although relevant experience will be taken into consideration, ITIL skills, Industry network specific certifications (e.g. CCNP, CCNA) • 6+ years experience in the troubleshooting and performance management of networks • Hands-on experience troubleshooting Cisco routers, Catalyst and IOS switches (65xx, 45xx, 35xx series) • Knowledgeable in the following data circuit technologies: ATM, DSL, Frame Relay, Ethernet, ISDN, POS and UCaaS • Expert knowledge in enterprise-level networking with knowledge in TCP/IP, Routing Protocols (OSPF and BGPv4, etc). Specific knowledge of BGP, OSPF and IP protocols in an MPLS Environment • Experience working on CoS, QoS, WRED and related quality of service parameters. Good understanding of high availability fundamentals (HSRP and VRRP) • Hands-on experience of LAN switching technologies: STP, Trunking, Ether channel. Knowledge of VPN technologies and IPSec and GRE protocols. Understanding of network protocols like FTP, TFTP, NTP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP • Exposure to multicast environment and knowledge of multicast protocols (IGMP, PIM) • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
