Für unseren Kunden, einen internationalen Anbieter im Bereich IT-Lösungen und –Dienstleistung suchen wir einen: SAP Basis Consultant (m/w) Start: 15.02.2012 End: 30.09.2012; extension is possible Ort: Erlangen Task: • implementing & maintaining multiple SAP instances (Dev, Quality, Production, Test, Training) • installation, upgrades, monitoring, performance tuning, client copies, system refreshes, applying support packs and kernel upgrades, troubleshooting SAP interfaces • provide technical basis consulting to development and application support team • schedule batch jobs, provide database support, printer administration, develop and support SAP landscape and client strategies • interact with hosting team on operating system activities including disk sizing and allocation and backups • capacity plan SAP system resources, develop and recommend system architecture for SAP installs, import transports across landscapes, support SAPGUI rollouts • Typical SAP security tasks for Ex-Dade systems includes advanced user administration, interact with business super users to design and create security roles and profiles, clean and maintain license data, interact with internal and external security auditors and remediate issues when required • participating in supporting various business critical systems during off hours • follow change management policies/procedures for system change management and working on support issues reported by the Service Desk Ticketing system Skills: • several years of experience as an SAP Basis Consultant • Strong understanding of SAP client management strategies and SAP transport system • Experience in technical infrastructure and/or operations support. • Strong technical knowledge of SAP R/3 4.6 C, SAP ECC 6.0, SAP PI 7.11; Solutionmanager 7.1, Netweaver 4.0, NWDI know How, Enterprise Portal • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work in a virtual global team • Strong Customer Focus and Result Orientation, general Business acumen and domain knowledge • Excellent oral and written German and English If you are interested in this project, please forward your most recent CV to: for premium members only Please refer to the following reference number in the subject line: #PRO: 882060.
