I need Electronic Derivatives Trading Test Engineers (m/w)
Project start : ASAP or within 2-3 Months Project duration : 6 Months (with option) Project volume : Full time Tasks/Responsibilities : Developer of functional tests for a full-featured electronic options exchange. The engineer will work in the Functional Test team of the project; tasks include: - Requirement / Fine Specification Analysis - Development of functional test cases, using a Data Driven automation approach - Execution and supervision of automated test runs - Analysis and reporting of complex error scenarios - Support for programmers' error investigations Test cases will largely be created using MS Excel. Test execution platform will be Linux using Python / XML based test tools. Qualifications/Required Skills : In-depth understanding of derivatives trading. US stock options trading experience would be advantageous. A Tester's mindset: - Attitude of precision, to not be fooled by what looks correct at first sight - Creativity and imagination, to ask unexpected questions - Judgement, to see what really matters - Ability to work focused and systematically, to get it done. Experience using MS Excel Good communication skills Ability to work in an international project team A good command of English is a must. Additional Domain & Business Skills : Some background in script programming, in particular Python, would be an advantage.
