• How does projektwerk IT work?

  We think successful project work starts with the best possible matching of freelancers and projects. Our new matching technology efficiently handles this task and matches fitting freelancers and project providers. • What is the meaning and purpose of projektwerk?

  Since 1999 projektwerk connects people who work flexibly, enabling them to find the best matching projects and freelancers.
  projektwerk provides specific platforms for the following industries: IT, consulting, creative, engineering, medical and fashion.

• What has projektwerk IT in store for me?

• How do I edit my contact information?

  Click "settings" -> "about me" and enter the specific information. Within your account settings, you can select how other members can contact and interact with you. Checkmark the appropriate boxes to choose the specific details that you want to be visible for other members.

• What languages does projektwerk support?

  You can set projektwerk to German or English. Your current browser settings will determine the platform´s language. The project and profile contents are not affected by your browser settings and will continue to appear in the language in which they were created by the user.

Registration and membership

• Why do I need to register?

  Your registration enables you to create and publish your own project or profile and take advantage of the matching service.

• Can I use all projektwerk industry platforms with my registration or do I have to register separately?

  Your log in data is valid for all projektwerk industry platforms. If you wish to use more than one industry platform, the favoured industries will be activated with your login.

• What kinds of memberships are available on projektwerk IT?

  projektwerk IT offers a free introductory basic membership with limited functionality and a premium membership with full functionality. The monthly fee for the premium membership starts at € 25 and includes the right to use the contractual services without restriction and at no additional cost. projektwerk does not charge commission. • What are the available prices?

  The basic membership is free on projektwerk IT. However, to have access to projektwerk's full functionality a premium membership is needed. The monthly fee for the premium membership starts at € 25. If you wish to acquire additional premium memberships for more platforms, you get a 50% booking discount on the second projektwerk platform and even a 75% discount on each further platform you activate. Further costs will not be incurred. projektwerk does not receive commissions. Find out more on membership & prices.

• When does my premium membership begin?

  After booking your premium membership, you can immediately use all the features of projektwerk IT and any subsequently activated platforms.

• I need several accounts for my company. Is there a special account for companies?

  For more than one account on projektwerk IT we have special conditions. Do not hesitate to contact us to get more information. If you wish to acquire additional premium memberships for more platforms, you get a 50% booking discount on the second projektwerk platform and even a 75% discount on each further platform you activate. • How do I get a new password?

  If you forgot your password, please use the "Forgot your password" link in the log in box. Click the 'log in'-button to access the function.

• How do I change my password?

  Access "settings" and select the tab "account settings" to set a new password.

• Where can I access my invoices?

  You can view your invoices by clicking "settings" and then selecting the tab "billing".

• How do I change my billing address?

  In order to change your billing address, go to "settings" and click "billing". Changes are taken into account in the following billing cycle. If you wish to modify existing invoices for changes please feel free to contact us.

• How do I cancel my subscription?

  Premium memberships may be cancelled in due time, one month prior to the end of a billing cycle. To cancel a subscription, contact projektwerk by email or postal mail. For short term memberships of 1 month the notice period is 14 days. Premium members with multiple platform accounts may cancel these platforms speparately. Please include in your cancellation your account's email address or an invoice number and if you wish, the reason for the termination of your membership of projektwerk IT.

• How do I delete my account?

  Simply send us an email and we will process the deletion of your account.

The matching technology

• What is projektwerk's matching service? How does the matching of projects and profiles work?

  projektwerk's matching service calculates an accurate matching rate between projects and profiles using the entered information related to the project requirements, freelancer's expertise, title, keywords and description and thus finds the most suitable project partners.

• Where do I find the search option?

  On "All projects" and "All profiles" you can take a look at published projects and profiles. In addition you can search for keywords.
  
  projektwerk's new matching service replaces the traditional search function. The search for suitable projects or profiles is completed via the automated matching and is based on the information provided in your project or profile.
  
  After editing your project or profile, suitable matches will be displayed and instantly accessible. Likewise, your published project or profile will be matched to other projects or profiles and is (therefore) visible for other users.

• What are specific keywords in profiles and projects used for and why are they important?

  For best matching results, users should input appropriate keywords to describe project requirements or (profile) personal expertise and knowledge, for example. Appropriate keywords and good descriptions improve the projects´ or profiles´ ranking and ensure optimal matching.

• How do I view the most recent projects or profiles?

  You can see all published profiles and projects on the "all profiles" and "all projects" sites. You have the opportunity to subscribe to a RSS feed on the projektwerk IT. The feed reader informs you about the latest projects and profiles in realtime.
  
  Once logged in, you can use the time slider on your project or profile site to adjust the settings to only display matching results from a desired publication date on.

• Is there location based matching? Can I filter my results regarding the location?

  Yes, you can filter your matching results and show only those that are located within a certain distance to your project or profile. To use the location based matching, simply add a preferred location in your project or profile. To choose a radius, set the slider above your matching results to the desired distance.

• How can I use projektwerk IT as a project provider? How do I find a suitable freelancer?

  Once you have registered on projektwerk you can access the matching service to effectively and efficiently staff your projects. Publish your project and immediately get direct access to a list of matching freelancer profiles. Look through your matches for suitable experts. Likewise, your project will be displayed in the matching results of fitting freelancers who can directly contact you.

• What are my benefits as a premium member?

  As a premium member you get the full functionality of projektwerk IT, enabling you to instantly and directly contact interesting freelancer profiles.

• How do I create a project?

  Our tour explains how to create a project in a few steps in our tour. Furthermore you can use our API to publish projects. For more information please contact us.

• How many projects can I publish?

  As a basic member you can post one project. Premium members can post an unlimited number of projects.

• Are there language preferences when creating a project?

  Projects and profiles which are written in the same language produce better matching results. If your project or profile mainly contains English keywords and descriptions, the matching results will primarily but not exclusively be in English.

• How can I get in contact with freelancers or service providers?

  As a premium member you have the opportunity to contact other users directly. Users can specify their preferred communication channels (eg email, phone). Contact information is exclusively accessible to premium members.

• Can I upload documents as attachments?

  Yes, when you create your project, you can upload documents. Or you can add documents to existing projects by clicking on "edit".

• Can I upload a picture or logo?

  A picture or logo is essential for the favorable appearance of your project. In your account settings, you can upload an image which is then displayed for all your projects. You can also add a image for each individual project.

• How can I use projektwerk IT as a freelancer?
  What are my options when offering my skills as a freelancer?

  As a freelancer, you promote yourself via a profile exhibiting your specific field of expertise, knowledge and experience. After you publish your profile, it is displayed in the matching results of corresponding project providers. Look through your matches for suitable projects. Interested providers can contact you directly. On the other hand, in order for you to actively contact your matches, a premium membership is required.

• How do I find the right project?

  Just sign up on projektwerk, create your profile and use our matching service to find fitting projects. After you create your profile, you will directly see an overview of suitable projects. Look through your results for the best matches. To contact project providers directly and benefit from the full functionality of projektwerk, simply become a premium member.

• How do I create a profile?

  Our guided tour explains how to create a profile in just a few simple steps.

• Is there a limit to how many profiles I can publish?

  As a basic member you can post one profile. Premium members can publish unlimited profiles.
