With this release, we have created a further feature for the projektwerk members to highlight their profile as well as their projects and jobs. Top Postings are contactable by all interested parties, i.e. your shared contact details are publicly accessible and can be downloaded as a vCard. Top Postings, are prominently placed on the homepage as well as highlighted in gold color, e.g.in the matching results, on "All Projects & Jobs" or "Expert Profiles".

Currently only published profiles, projects and jobs can be converted into a Top Posting. Please read our detailed information to learn more.

Top Postings are a paid feature. Unlike a starter or premium membership no subscription is required - the publication period of the Top Postings expires after 4 weeks automatically, a notice is not required.

With this release, we expand the options for basic and starter members: As of now you can create multiple projects, jobs, and profiles as a draft. Thus, members may for example create different specialised skill profiles in their account to be automatically informed about new matches.

Moreover, in the profile or project / job statistic it is displayed separately how often the own vcard has been downloaded and how often a user has been contacted on projektwerk.

With this release, we have revamped our layout and worked intensively to further simplify our job and project marketplace.

With this release, we have extended our portfolio of contract types by the additional option “Permanent position”. This is the second step towards enabling our members to staff or acquire projects on a single platform, since project work is increasingly being carried out independently of the type of contract and the distinctions between different terms of employment are becoming blurred.

While introducing the additional contract type „Permanent position”, we offer you the possibility to get to know this contract type free of charge. Define the desired contract type in your project or profile to receive suitable matches: Freelance, Fixed Price, Permanent position.

projektwerk IT expands its portfolio and provides you with the possibility to publish your project at a fixed price or to carry out a project on a fixed budget as a freelancer. This marks the first step toward enabling you to staff or acquire projects regardless of the contracting type in the future, since project work is increasingly being done regardless of types of contract.

You can now choose between the contracting types “Freelance” and “Fixed price” in all projects and freelance profiles. As a freelancer, you can find projects using the classical contracting model or the fixed price model. As a project provider, you can publish projects ranging from the premium sector to the small fixed price project.

With this release, we have extended projektwerk IT to include a new type of membership: the starter membership.
As a starter member, you can use projektwerk IT more extensively than a basic member, starting from 8€ per month. The starter membership is worthwhile for you, if you wish to occasionally contact project partners proactively and publish projects or profiles on a small scale.

Your advantages as a starter member:
- Proactively contact up to 3 project partners per month – instead of just being able to be contacted as a basic member
- View other members´ unabridged project and profile information
- Receive detailed matching information about suitable project partners
- Bookmark interesting project partners

Additionally, you can:

From now on, you can subscribe to the new daily project and profile newsletters that display all new projects and profiles for those platforms that are relevant to you. Here is how: Click on “Newsletter & notifications” in your settings and set the checkmarks where you need them.

This release simplifies the access to the six projektwerk platforms. From now on, you can use all projektwerk platforms that fit your needs with your existing login data. Choose the platforms that are interesting to you carefully to reach the right target group. Despite the simplified access to all projektwerk platforms, we maintain the industry specialization: You decide how much projektwerk you need.

Also, becoming a premium member on more than one platform or complementing your premium membership with additional platforms as needed online has been simplified. You will save 50 percent of the membership fee when booking a premium membership on the second platform; with a premium membership on 3 or more platforms you will save 75 percent on each platform.

This new release increases the quality requirements for projects and profiles. Now, at least two keywords have to be entered instead of just one. Additionally, the description text has to contain at least 100 characters. You will find further tips concerning the publication of projects and profiles on our blog.

With this release we have implemented the new status "archived" for expired projects. Now you can distinguish between expired projects and drafts. As a project provider you can find the "archive" in your menu. Also you can archive a project manually. Expired projects will be archived automatically and can be published again during the following four weeks. Take a look at the archived projects.

With this release we have implemented the possibility to choose between German or English language explicitly. Previously the language was chosen by the browser settings, now it can be chosen directly. Registered members have a new shortcut to find projects and profiles with specific keywords on the all projects and all profiles sites. Afterwards this search can be saved as profile or project. Also, we have improved the usability and modified the menu stucture a little.

With this release, a new “statistics” box for profiles and projects goes online. The statistics show how often a profile / project has been viewed, bookmarked and contacted by other members. Also, you will now receive information concerning your project´s / profile´s quality. This quality is being calculated by the completeness, length or shortness of the individual parts such as title, skills, description.

With this release we have implemented some social media features. All profiles and projects have got the facebook, google+ and twitter buttons. A twitter feed with latest news of projektwerk is integrated at the homepage. As premium member you can download the contact data of interesting partners and search in your own profiles and projects.

With this release we have implemented a new option to optimize your matching results. To limit your matching results to a specific term combination, simply put those words into quotation marks (e.g. "sap hr", "business analyst").

We have improved the matching algorithm. With the new checkboxes, the user can declare skills as "must have" terms, which will be included in the matching result. All matching terms are also displayed in the list view and the matching notification e-mail.

With this release, the new platform projektwerk medical goes live. projektwerk medical connects project suppliers and freelancers with healthcare know-how. Here your will find projects and professionals from the areas healthcare, medical writing, medical consulting, clinical operations, elder care, nursing, doctors, locum doctors etc. In addition, we have implemented the new google maps api, so users get direct feedback to their location input.

With this release we redesigned the platform and optimized the navigation. Now you find all areas of the platform in the main navigation. You can create profiles or projects directly or look through all freelancer profiles or all projects. Your settings are still located in the right top corner. On your personal home page you find your latest projects and profiles and new blog articles.

With this release you will have a further option for getting in contact with potential project partners: With one click you can send an e-mail with a link to your profile or project to any other member who has indicated their e-mail-adress. You contact process will be faciliated while still being indidually adaptable.

With this release we have implemented the location based matching. You can limit your matching results and show results within a radius to your project or profile only. To use the location based matching, please add a location to your project or profile. To set the radius search, simply set the slider to the desired distance. Furthermore we changed the daily matching notification. It now includes direct links to the matching profiles or projects as well as the location of the profile or project.

An auto-login is implemented in this release: From today on you don't need to type in your login data with every single login. Furthermore basic members will get a short overview of their matching results, so they can get an idea of what is hiding behind a title. Also the matching algorithm was further improved.

With this release you will find a tag cloud displaying the most frequently used keywords on the homepage. This will give you a quick overview of what is happening on the platform. Also, further steps in improving the matching were made.

With this release we further improved the matching technology - with special attention to your feedback. The matching will be more transparent: The keywords responsible for the match will be highlighted. Also the navigation bar is redesigned: Once you are logged in, you will find your name with an arrow next to it. Through clicking this arrow you can access your personal information, your bills, your account settings. You can also log out here. Furthermore new RSS feeds are available: One for all new projects and a separate one for all new profiles. You will find these RSS feeds in the footer.

The RSS-Feed for the matching results is implemented now. Users will stay informed about their personal matches via RSS. To activate click the orange RSS button. Furthermore this release is the first step to making the matching results more transparent: Keywords are compared more clearly and you can see the matching keywords, as well as your and the other users keywords which are not matching.

This release aimed at further sharpening our matching algorithm. Besides we redefined "new matches" and from today on you will be shown only newly published matches here.

During the first two weeks after the relaunch we worked on improving the performance and processing your feedback concerning features which long for optimization.

Although not visible at first glance, we have implemented several more steps into the development of our platform. The entire administrative functionality has been integrated to start the active usage of our matching technology. Furthermore, various enhancements of the design and usability have been made.

The next branch platform for engineers - projektwerk engineering - is online. With this platform we support the market for freelancers and project providers from the engineering branch. Additionally, you are now able to upload several attachments and add an individual photo to your project or profile.
