Performance Engineer - Our client, an international financial services company, is currently looking for a experienced Performance Engineer with deep knowledge of Java/Unix and Online Banking Platforms. Main tasks and activities: Analyze applications usage patterns to build a load model Analyze change impact and identify relevant test cases Setup system and application monitoring, ie Identify relevant metrics for monitoring (JMX, methods ) Perform load generation using HP Performance Center/HP LoadRunner Analyze dynamic system behaviour in order to identify bottlenecks (WLS Application Server, operating system, DB ) Implement/maintain load generation scripts in C (ANSI) Report upon test progress and issues To be considered for this long term role you must have the following skills/experience: More than 3 years as developer (JAVA/J2EE) in large projects Extensive experience with JEE container (ideal Weblogic) Extensive experience with Unix/Linux Experience with performance issue analysis Experience with application performance monitoring Experience in performance testing Good knowledge of Java language and it's runtime (virtual machine) If you think that you are the ideal candidate for this position please send a copy of your CV as a Word Document and a daytime contact telephone number.
