C++ Developer required for a 6 months extendable contract based in Eindhoven. Experience required: -Berkeley database experience: must -C++ programming: must -Embedded SW development skill: must -Application development on Linux OS: nice to have The engineer should have around 5 years (or more) of experience in development. Basically the Embedded system to work on, has data producers (like sensors) which store the data in the Berkeley DB and it has data consumers which get the data from the DB. Data size can be small to huge. Transfer time between producers and consumers are in milliseconds. His role would be to "implement" the Berkeley database in the system, and to fine tune the DB in order to be very efficient and extremely reliable. S/He should act as an architect for the database and s/he will also have to implement code in C++.
