For a customer project in Zurich, we need an experienced .Net / C# developer for advanced modeling applications. The applications being developed and maintained are used for numerical optimisations, running simulations of the customers’s risk models. The work consists of the full lifecycle of these business critical systems. The development environment is Microsoft VisualStudio, CruiseControl, SubVersion, Windows 7, Oracle, Microsoft Office 2010. The development method is test driven and agile based on SCRUM. Requirements: - Advanced degree in software engineering and in a mathematical or numerical discipline - Professional programming skills in numerical programming using C# - Experience in the area of financial modelling or other numerical simulation techniques is an important advantage - Java programming skills are a plus - Thorough knowledge of agile software development practises, modern software architecture and test driven development - Knowledge in risk management is a plus - Excellent English is a Must - German or French is a plus.
