My Client has an immediate requirement for a Senior Java Developer with 8yrs+ experience for an initial 6mth contract role within the Banking Collections and Transactions Team. The hiring manager has approval for an immediate start date but will accept candidates with notice periods. Experience required; Seniority and years of experience is essential. 8yrs + in core and enterprise Java Devleopment. My Client wants a very strong developer to streghten his excisting team and work alongside the current lead developer to work on a mobile transaction product. Banking, financial services, mobile payments, banking security and fraud experience is important to this role. It is an Agile based environment with scrum pro-planning and struts being 3-4 weeks long roughly. Enterprise standard application experience necessary - it is not a single monolithic piece of software. There will be multiple external interfaces that they are integrating. Integration experience is a positive. Distributive systems experience Security and Encryption knowledge and experience within that type of environment It is pure JAVA role, so Java technology expertise WebSphere Application JUNIT for unit test - they have a QA test team to test automation for auto test and billing Tools - Tibco, hibernate, spring and oracle at the Back End Security systems and SSL Certification The successful Candidate does not have to have experience in all the technologies mentioned above as long as s/he has 4-5 areas (at least) with strong experience using those technologies.
