Operational tasks in BW Backend (and Frontend) BW Performance tuning Root cause analysis. BW Backend issue handling SAP-Kenntnisse: BW/BI Experte PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES As part of Global IT, the Release&Production Management Team is focusing on the internal business landscapes based on SAP software solutions (ERP, CRM, BW, Netweaver…). It is responsible for maintenance and operation of the internal business system landscapes. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Thorough knowledge in BW System administration Excellent skills in BW Technologies Skills in BW Accelerator is a plus Experience in BO and BW integration Proven Expert in one or more of the following 6 topics: 1. BI Performance 2. BI FrontEnd 3. BI Java 4. BI Modeling 5. LSA/EDW concepts and implementations in large enterprises 6. BI Technical Architecture Team player Experience working in transnational teams Experience with offshore partner engagements Advanced communication and organizational skills Fluent in German and English EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS As a member of the BI Platform team you will act as an interface between the “BI Applications” and the Infrastructure Services. You will: Act as an internal BI Technology Consultant to support in plan, build and run topics. Coordinate and deploy changes and enhancements along business needs for BI systems Plan and coordinate enhancements of the system landscape and support IT projects with your expertise regarding BI Technology topics. Coordinate changes and enhancements of BI content and system process from a BI Technology perspective. Solve system bottlenecks and support system capacity management. Analyze and solve platform-related issues. Support internal implementation projects and internal customers. Develop concepts and tools for problem prevention and increased efficiency.
