"IT security professional" mit Kenntnissen in it security, linux, windows, network security, security risk analysis

I am a freelances working in the field of *IT security*. I studied IT at the Technical University Hamburg-Harburg and therefore also have an +engineering background+. My technical skills include: * Linux ( LPI certified) - very good * Windows (all versions) - very good with specific knowledge in ASP.NET and IIS * Network security: general knowledge of best practices / common technologies and protocols * Application security: specifically in the field of web application security * General knowledge of common programming languages: Java, C#, Perl ans associated tools like Eclipse and Visual Studio Besides my broad technical knowledge I also count on my +softskills+. I am fluent in German and English, know how to present my results to an audience without a technical background. I am a team player, stick to my commitments and focus on my customers. My +work experience+ consists of consulting jobs for the automotive and the aircraft industry. I have worked in other countries outside of Europe (mainly China). I am very flexible concerning work location and do not mind leaving Hamburg for a project. I am currently not available because of ongoing projects (until April 2010). On the other hand, I am +always interested in new challenges+. I am +seeking projects that require a technical background concerning IT security but are located at the interface between the engineering and business level+.
